Green Gas Mobility Summit, the event organised by Gasnam-Neutral Transport that analyses the value chain of renewable gases, from production and logistics to their final use as a vector for the decarbonisation of transport, will reopen its doors on 25 and 26 June at La Nave (Madrid).
This year, the congress has the backing of more than thirty sponsors and exhibitors, including Enagás, Naturgy, Moeve and PreZero España as main sponsors, consolidating their commitment to sustainable mobility and energy transition.
The official programme is now available and addresses the main challenges and opportunities associated with the deployment of biomethane and hydrogen in more than twenty sessions. During the two days, strategic issues such as the development of biomethane in the Iberian Peninsula, the infrastructures required for renewable hydrogen and synthetic fuels, the traceability and certification of bio-LNG, the role of green certificates in the European market and the integration of these fuels in heavy transport by road, sea and air, among other issues, will be analysed.
The agenda includes a broad institutional representation with the confirmed participation of officials from the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, the Madrid City Council and the regional governments of Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, the Community of Madrid and the Region of Murcia. At a business level, the congress will feature the participation of executives from leading companies and organisations such as AENA, Air Liquide, Asociación de Líneas Aéreas (ALA), Axpo Iberia, Baleària, BP, Bureau Veritas, CMA CGM, Enagás, Grupo Carreras, IVECO, Moeve, Naturgy, PreZero España, Puertos del Estado, Repsol, Volvo Trucks and Wärtsilä, among others.
In addition to the plenary sessions, the event will offer meeting spaces and visibility for the most innovative initiatives. On 25 June, the fourth edition of the Gasnam Innovation Awards will be held, and several pioneering projects that are setting the course for the decarbonisation of transport will be presented.

Parallel workshops
A new feature of this year’s event is the inclusion of parallel sessions with a sectoral focus and practical workshops aimed at transport operators and public administrations. These include a workshop on the opportunities offered by biomethane for public environmental companies (in collaboration with ANEPMA), and a workshop on sustainable buses (sponsored by IVECO), with the participation of leading cities such as Paris, Barcelona and Madrid, pioneers in the incorporation of renewable gases in their municipal fleets.
Green Gas Mobility Summit is not only a platform for dialogue and collaboration, but also a driving force for change towards cleaner, more efficient and sustainable mobility, offering a comprehensive vision of the transformative role of biomethane, hydrogen and their derivatives in the future of transport.
